Mission if the Committee The task of the Integrative Approaches to Pain and Addiction Committee (IAPAC) is to alleviate pain and suffering by shifting the pain care paradigm away from merely suppressing and managing pain to a focus on creating health in individuals with painful conditions. The Committee focuses on resolving the current opioid epidemic through elevating inter-professional engagement with evidence-informed use of natural, holistic, multidisciplinary integrative health strategies.
