Susan Haeger, Board member of the Integrative Health Policy Consortium (IHPC) stepped into the role of interim Executive Director (ED) over the last two years to assist the organization in strategic and organizational development for impact and growth. She recently announced her planned departure to pursue other professional opportunities.
Haeger’s tenure in the interim executive director role saw significant advances for IHPC’s leadership as the national policy and advocacy voice of integrative health and wellness. Working closely with IHPC’s Board, strategic advisors and partners, IHPC achievements under Haeger’s leadership include: 2018-2021 Strategic Planning, formation of the first-ever Congressional Integrative Health and Wellness Caucus (IHWC), founding partner for the first-ever national Integrative Pain Care Policy Congress, growth of IHPC Partner For Health membership and securing of national respected strategic advisors, hiring of an experienced DC-based Director of Government Affairs, launch of IHPC’s monthly eNews on federal and state policy and legislative advances and launch of a new national Alliance for Integrative Health to represent a broad constituency of allied organizations and individuals.
