Dr. Michelle Simon is a licensed naturopathic physician practicing in Seattle. She serves as Treasurer of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and is a Director of the Naturopathic Physicians Research Institute (NPRI).

Michelle was selected to be an Ambassador from the naturopathic medicine profession to the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM; also an INPC Partner for Health). She served nine years on the Washington State Health Technology Clinical Committee (HTCC), which examines the evidence for efficacy, safety, and cost effectiveness of healthcare technology for reimbursement determinations. (HTCC is part of the state’s Health Technology Assessment program: HTA).

Michelle consults for Nurahealth, a social purpose company dedicated to delivering cost-effective integrated medicine options for employer-based healthcare systems, and she serves on several advisory boards including Natural Partners, Inc. and Heartland Superfoods, and she is Clinic Director for Healthwise Integrative Medicine.

She holds a Naturopathic Doctorate from Bastyr University and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
